Who Is She?

Jessie Brown is the founder of Technology Natives. She is currently a technology specialist at Nina Harris Exceptional Student Education Center in Pinellas County. Prior to her role as a tech specialist, she spent 14 years working with students with significant physical and cognitive disabilities as a special education teacher in Maryland and now Florida. She was named school representative for County Educator of the Year at 2 different schools in Maryland and 1 in Florida.

What Experience Does She Have?

Jessie has experience working with a wide-range of learners, from pre-school students to students with significant cognitive and physical impairments to adults suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Her father, a former professional football and baseball player, suffers from the disease. She has been with him every step of the way as it progresses and has used the experience to create unique solutions to the problems he faces, so he can continue to live the life he deserves. She credits her experience as an educator for paving the path to working with seniors and their interaction with technology.

Patience is the adjective that is used in many of the testimonials from people she has helped. She takes the time to listen to the client, recognize the difficulties they are having, develop solutions and teach them in a way they will understand.
